Sura 49 – Private Apartments (Al Hujraat)

PRIVATE APARTMENTS  Revealed at: Medina Sura: 49 Part: 26  Total Ayats: 18
	In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Lenient
	Section 1
1	O Believers! don’t be ahead of Allah and His Messenger’s presence rather be mindful of Allah. for Allah Hears and Knows
2	O you who believe! don’t raise your voice above the Prophet’s. nor shout aloud like some would to one another, least your work becomes futile unintentionally
3	those who lower their voices in Allah’s Messengers presence their Hearts Allah has tested for piety giving forgiveness and abundant rewards
4	but those who shout out to you from behind the private apartments, are mostly senseless
5	if they could wait till you came out, it would be sensible. still Allah is oft Forgiving most Merciful
6	O you who believe! if an evil person brings news, verify it first in case you harm innocent people and then repent
7	and know that Allah’s Messenger is amongst you. if he were to obey you much you would end up in trouble. but Allah has kindly given faith to you beautifying it in your Heart and made disbelief, filthiness and revolt hateful to you. such are the rightly guided
8	it’s grace and favor from Allah. and Allah is all Knower and Wise
9	if two parties among Believers fight, try to make peace between them but if one is wrong then fight against the wrong until it complies with Allah’s Command. and when it complies then make peace between them with justice. for Allah loves just acts
10	Believers are like brothers so make peace between your brothers. and be aware of your duty to Allah, to receive Mercy
	Section 2
11	O you who Believe! don’t let Men ridicule Men, who may be better than them or Woman ridicule Woman who may be better than them. nor defame each other or insult one another by calling names. lewdness after believing is evil and whoever don’t repent are evil-doers
12	O you who Believe! avoid suspicion for it might be a crime. neither spy nor backbite one another. will anyone like to eat flesh of his dead brother? yes hate it! fear Allah, for Allah is oft-Relenting, Merciful
13	O Humankind! We’ve created you from one of a Male and a Female, and made you into Nations and Tribes so that you may know each other. the most honored in Allah’s sight are the most righteous. Lo! Allah is all-Knowing, Aware
14	the Bedouins say “we believe” say “you don’t! but only say it” for Faith has not entered your Hearts but if you obey Allah and His Messenger He will not deny any of your deeds for He is oft-Forgiving, Lenient”
15	Believers are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger without doubt and strive with their Hearts, belongings and lives in Allah’s cause. such are sincere
16	say “what! will you inform Allah of your Religion? but Allah knows all what’s in the Heavens and Earth with full knowledge of all things”
17	they stress that they’ve done you a favor by embracing Islam. say “don’t think you did me favor rather Allah did you favor by guiding you to the Faith. if you are sincere”
18	“for Allah knows the secrets of Heavens and Earth and Allah sees all your doings”
