In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Merciful

  Section 1
1 Saad: by the Quran full of reminders
2 still Disbelievers are in false pride and thus divided
3 many a generation have We destroyed before them? they only cried out when their time to escape ended!
4 and they wonder that a warner from among them has come! Disbelievers say “he is a Magician, a liar!”
5 “has he made all God’s into One (1) God? that’s amazing!
6 and their leaders say “stay away and remain loyal to your own Gods. this is all planned”
7 “we’ve never heard of this in recent times, it’s all made-up!”
8 “how can a Message be sent to him rather than us?” doubting My Message! Nay! they haven’t tasted My punishment yet!
9 or do they have treasures of Mercy of your Lord the All-Mighty, Bestower?
10 or do they own the Heavens and Earth and all between them? so let them climb with any means
11 even a host of Allies will be defeated
12 people of Noah rejected and so did the Ad’s, Pharaoh’s and Lord of Stakes
13 Thamud, Lut and Companion of the woods, such were the Allies
14 not one of them but did reject My Messengers and thus My punishment on them was justified
  Section 2
15 they only need a Single blast for an instant end
16 they say “our Lord hurry on the sentence before Day of Account”
17 bear patiently their words and remember Our Bondmen the mighty David who forever was turning (to Allah)
18 Lo! We made the hills Sing praise along with him at Night and Morning
19 the Birds joined him too. all turned (to Allah)
20 We strengthen his Kingdom by giving him wisdom, sound Judgment, with speech
21 did you hear the story of the disputants? who scaled the wall into David’s private chambers
22 on seeing them David got scared but they said “don’t be afraid, we are Two (2) disputants. one has wronged the other. Judge us without injustices, and guide us on right path
23 this, my brother has Ninety nine (99) ewes and I have One (1). he says: entrust me your one, and speaks harshly”
24 (David) said “he was wrong in asking for your ewe to be added to his: for many a partners wrong one another. how few are those who believe and do right?” but David realized that Allah was testing him and he bowed down asking for forgiveness
25 so we forgave him that: he enjoyed access to Our presence with good ending
26 O David! We’ve made you viceroy on Earth: do justice to Mankind and refrain from lust which misleads from Allah’s path. those who stray is severely punished for they forget the Day of Account
  Section   3
27 We didn’t create Heavens and Earth and all between them without purpose; these are Disbelievers thoughts. woe to them from the Fire!
28 shall we treat good Believers same as those who do evil on Earth? or treat the pious as bad?
29 the Book We’ve sent to you is full of blessings. so that Mankind may ponder upon the Revelations and reflect
30 to David We gave Solomon. an excellent Devotee! forever remorseful
31 even though when at noon a display of superior swift-footed Horses was brought to him
32 he said “truly do I love the love of good things, instead of remembering my Lord” and (sun) was behind a veil
33 “bring them back to me” than he began to pass his hands over their legs and necks
34 We did try Solomon by placing a body on his Throne, than did he repent
35 and said “O my Lord! forgive me and give me a Kingdom that none will ever have. for you are the Bestower”
36 then We gave him power to control the Winds it blew gently wherever he willed
37 and the Devils too, every kind of builder and diver
38 and others bound together in chains
39 such are Our Bounties so spend or keep no question will be asked
40 for he has Our Favors and a happy journey’s end
  Section   4
41 mention Our Bondman Job (Ayub) who cried to his Lord “Satan shadows me with torment and suffering!”
42 “strike with your feet; this is cool water to wash and a drink
43 and We gave him his family along with others as a Mercy from Us and reminder for those who understands
44 take a branch piece in your Hands and strike with it. don’t break your Oath. We found him steadfast how excellent was his service! often repenting
45 remember our Devotee Abraham (Ibrahim) Isaac (Ishaq) and Jacob   (Yaqub)  possessor of Power and Vision
46 We purified them with pure thoughts of the Hereafter
47 in Our sight they are the chosen ones and excellent!
48 and mention Ishmael,(Ismail), Elisha (al-yasaa) and Isaiah (Dhu’l Kifl) all were chosen ones
49 this is a Message; for the pious, a happy journeys end
50 in Garden of Eden, for them the Gates are open
51 reclining there and calling for abundance of Fruits and Drinks
52 along with them are those with restraining glances  of the same age
53 such is it that you’re promised for the Day of Account!
54 such is Our never-failing bounty;
55 yes such!  but for the wrongdoers is an evil place of  final return
56 Hell! where they’ll burn. an evil resting place!
57 yes, let them taste boiling liquid and wound fluid to drink
58 along with  similar punishments
59 this is troop rushing with you, no welcome! for they shall burn in the Fire!
60 blaming others “you too! no welcome! you brought this upon us. so evil a place to stay”
61 they say “Our Lord! whoever did this to us give him double penalty of Fire”
62 and say “what’s the matter with us why don’t we see ones whom we considered evil?”
63 “did we treat them as laughing stock or our eyes cannot see them?”
64 this is very true of the mutual dispute of people of the Fire
  Section 5
65 say “I am only a warner. there is no God except Allah the one the Supreme”
66 Lord of Heavens and Earth and all between them. the all-Mighty and oft-Forgiving
67 say “that is a supreme Message”
68 “and you turn away!”
69 “I have no knowledge of the dispute of the high Chiefs”
70 “only this is revealed to me,  that i am a plain warner”
71 behold the Lord said to the Angels: “I am about to create a Person from clay”
72 “when I have shaped him and breathed into him from My Soul, than fall down before him prostrate”
73 so all the Angels fell down prostrate
74 except Satan (Iblis); he was proud and became a Disbeliever
75 “Satan why didn’t you bow to which I’ve created with both My Hands. are you proud or one of the high-ups”
76 said “I am better than him, You’ve created me from Fire and him from Clay”
77 (Allah) said “then leave! you rejected outcast”
78 “with My Curse on you till Judgment Day”
79 (Satan) said “my Lord give me respite till Day they are raised”
80 (Allah said)“respite is granted”
81 until the Day of the appointed time”
82 (Satan) said “than by Your powers I shall lure them all”
83 except your Sincere Devotees
84 He said “it’s the Truth and in Truth I say”
85 “I will surely fill Hell with you, with all your followers!”
86 (O’Mohammed) say: “I don’t ask you for reward nor am I a pretender”
87 “this is no less than a Message to the whole Worlds”
88 “and you shall soon know the Truth”

Sura 37 – Those Who Set The Ranks (As-Saaffat)

THOSE WHO SET THE RANKS (As-Saaffat)

  • Revealed at:  Makka
  • Sura:  37
  • Part:  23
  • Total Verses: 182
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Merciful
  Section 1
1 by those arranged in rows
2 by those who drive the clouds properly
3 (and) by those who bring the Book
4 truly your God is one!
5 Lord of the Heavens, Earth and all between them, and Lord of every point of the Sun’s rising
6 Lo! We’ve beautified the near Heavens with Stars
7 to guard against all obstinate Devils
8 they cannot listen to the higher assembly but are bombard from every sides
9 repulsed, for they are under continuous punishment
10 except such who sneakily snatch something, but than is perused by a flaming Fire
11 ask them: are they stronger in creation than those whom We’ve created? Lo We’ve created them out of Sticky Clay
12 nay! you do wonder when they mock
13 and don’t heed when reminded
14 and upon seeing a Sign they ridicule it
15 saying “this is simple Magic”
16 “what! when we are dead, dust and bones we’ll be raised again?”
17 “and our forefathers too?”
18 say “yes and you shall then be degraded”
19 a single Shout (Zajrah). and they’ll be staring!
20 and say “woe to us for this is the Repayment Day!”
21 “this is the Day of Judgment that you had denied!”
Section 2
22 “assemble the wrongdoers with their Companions with things they worshipped
23 “instead of Allah and lead them to the Flaming Fire”
24 “but first stop them for they must be questioned”
25 “what’s the matter, that you don’t help each other?”
26 nay! that Day they’ll submit
27  some will turn and question each another
28 saying “it was you who used to compel us!”
29 they’ll reply “nay! you yourself had no Faith”
30 “and we were powerless over you. you people were impertinent”
31 “now as sentence against us is confirmed by our Lord, thus we taste!”
32 “we misled you because we were ourselves stray”
33 truly that Day they’ll share the punishment
34 that’s how we deal with the guilty
35 for when they were told there is no God besides Allah they scorned
36 and said “shall we abandon our God’s for a mad Poet?”
37 nay! he’s brought you the Truth confirming the Message
38 surely you shall taste severe punishment
39 and only for your deeds
40 except for Allah’s sincere Devotees
41 for them is definite provisions
42 Fruits! and being honored
43 in Gardens of delight (Naeem)
44 facing each other on Thrones
45 and passed round to them cup from a Spring
46 White, delicious to the drinkers
47 with no headache, intoxications or sin from it
48 with them will be young with restraining glances and lovely big Eyes
49 like preserved eggs
50 turning to one another questioning
51 a speaker will say “i had a companion”
52 who used to say ‘do you really accept Faith?’
53 ‘when we are dead, dust and bones will we still be rewarded or punished?
54 (a voice) said ‘will you look down?’
55 he looked down and saw himself in midst of a Fire
56 he said “by Allah you nearly ruined me”
57 “if it wasn’t for my Lords grace i would’ve been amongst those summoned”
58 “are we than not to die?”
59 “other than our first death and not be punished?”
60 truly! this is a supreme success !
61 for the likes of this, lets strive and work for it
62 isn’t this a better activity than the Tree of Zaqqum (Tree in Hell)?
63 for We’ve made it as a test for evildoers
64 for it’s a Tree springing from the base of Hell fire
65 its crops shoots are like Devils Heads
66 they will eat and fill their bellies with it
67 and then have boiling Water to drink
68 then again into Hell Fire
69 for they did find their fathers astray
70 and still they rushed on their footsteps
71 truly, before them many people of old went astray
72 certainly We did sent Warner among them
73 than see the end of those warned
74 except Allah’s sincere Devotees
Section   3
75 Noah cried to Us. and We are best to answer
76 We saved him and his people from the great disaster
77 and made his descendants survive
78 and We left this (remembrance) for him for generations to come
79 “Peace be upon Noah among all  the World’s!”
80 thus do We reward the good
81 Lo! he’s one of Our believing Devotees
82 but the others We drowned
83 those who also followed his way was Abraham
84 when he approached his Lord wholeheartedly
85 behold! he said to his father and his people “what is it that you worship”
86 “false Gods!  other than Allah, that your seek ?”
87 “than what’s your opinion about Lord of the Worlds?”
88 than he looked at the Stars
89 and said “i feel sick”
90 so they turned away and left him
91 then he turned to their Gods and said “won’t you eat?”
92 “what’s the matter, why you don’t speak?”
93 than he attacked them hitting with his Right Hand
94 and (people) rushed towards him
95 he said. “you worship things that you’ve carved?”
96 “but Allah created you and your handiwork!”
97 they said “build a furnace and throw him into the blazing Fire”
98 than they designed a ploy against him but We brought them down
99 he said “i will go to my Lord who will guide me!”
100 my Lord “give me someone good !”
101 so We gave him good news of his forth coming Son
102 and when he was old enough to walk with him, he said “my Son i saw in sleep that i am slaughtering you! what do you think?” (son) replied “father do whatever you are commanded. Allah willing you will find me steadfast”
103 after both submitted their will, he than laid him facedown
104 We called out to him “O Abraham!”
105 “you have already fulfilled the vision, thus We reward the good”
106 for this was a test
107 and We exchanged him with a great sacrifice:
108 and We left this (remembrance) for him for generations to come
109 “Peace be upon Abraham!”
110 thus do We reward the good
111 Lo! he was one of Our believing Devotee
112 We gave him good news of Isaac  a Prophet of the righteous
113 We blessed him and Isaac. but in their descendants some are good while some wrong their own Soul
Section   4
114 certainly We favored Moses and Aaron (Harun) too
115 saving them and their people from great distress
116 and helped them to victory
117 and gave them the Clear Book
118 and guided them to the right path
119 and We left for them (remembrance) among generations to come
120 “Peace be upon Moses and Aaron (Harun)”
121 thus do We reward the good doers
122 for they were Our believing Devotees
123 so was Ellias one of  the Messenger’s sent
124 when he said to his people “won’t you fear”
125 “will you call ‘Baal’ and forget the best Creator?”
126 “Allah ! yours and your fathers Lord”
127 but they rejected him. they will surely be summoned
128 save Allah’s sincere Devotees
129 and We left this (remembrance) for him among future generations
130 “Peace be upon Elias!”
131 thus do We reward the good
132 he was one of Our believing Devotees
133 so was Lot sent
134 We saved him and his followers all
135 except an old Woman who stayed behind
136 and We destroyed the rest
137 and you pass by them during the Day
138 and Night. won’t you than think
Section 5
139 so was Jonah among those sent
140 when he fled in the laden Ship
141 he was betting thus was  blame worthy
142 and a Fish swallowed him for he was guilty
143 and if he hadn’t glorified (Allah)
144 he would’ve stayed inside Fishes belly till Resurrection Day
145 than We flung him sick on an isolated shore
146 and We caused a Tree of Gourd to cover him
147 than We sent him to a Hundred Thousand (100,000   people) or more
148 and they believed. so We gave them break for a while
149 now ask them “does your Lord have daughters while you have sons
150 or that We’ve created Angels as Female in their presence?
151 truly don’t they speak their own made up lies
152 “Allah has got (Children)” certainly they are liars !
153 “does He prefer daughters to son’s?”
154 what’s the matter, how do you Judge?
155 won’t you than remember?
156 or have you a clear authority?
157 than produce your Book if you are Truthful!
158 inventing relationship between Him and the Jinn’s. whereas the Jinn’s know that they will have to give account
159 Glory be to Allah from the things they ascribe Him with
160 but the sincere Devotees of Allah don’t
161 Lo! neither you nor that which you worship
162 can motivate anyone against Allah
163 except those who will burn in Hell
164 there isn’t one of us (Angles) who doesn’t know his assigned place
165 certainly we stand in rows
166 certainly we glorify His praise
167 but there were those who said
168 if only we had an old Reminder
169 we would’ve been sincere Devotees of Allah
170 yet they reject it , soon they’ll know
171 already Our sent Devotee has received Our words
172 that they’ll surely be victorious
173 and Our forces shall conquer
174 so you withdraw from them for a while
175 and watch, soon they will see!
176 do they wish to hasten the Doom from Us?
177 but when it descends in front of them, that Morning will be miserable for those warned
178 so withdraw from them for a while
179 and watch, soon they shall see!
180 Glory to your Lord, the Lord of Honor and Power! above what they ascribe
181 and Peace be upon the Messengers!
182 and praise be to Allah Lord of all the Worlds!

sura 35 – The Originator of Creations / Angels (Fatir)

ORIGINATOR OF CREATIONS / ANGELS (FATIR)

  •  Revealed at:  Makkah
  •  Sura:  35
  • Part:  22
  • Total Verses:  45
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Lenient
  Section 1
1 all praise to Allah the Originator of Heavens and Earth, the Messengers and  Angels with Wings, Two(2), Three(3) or Four (4).  He adds to His Creations at will. Allah has power over all things
2 what Allah gives to Mankind none can withhold and what he withholds none can grant, apart from Him. He’s all Powerful and Wise
3 O Mankind! think of Allah’s kindness towards you. is there  another Creator other than Allah, who provides for you from Heavens or Earth? then why turn away?
4 and if they reject you, like they did to previous Messengers: than  it’s to Allah all things return
5 Allah’s promise is true, so don’t let yourself be deceived by the present Life or the Chief deceiver, misleading you regarding Allah
6 Satan is an enemy to you so treat him as enemy. he invites his supporter to join him into the Fire
7 for the Disbelievers there is terrible Doom but for righteous Believers, forgiveness with excellent reward
  Section 2
8 is he, who’s bad deeds are made to look good making them feel they are right? for Allah leaves stray or guides whom He wills, so don’t sigh for them Allah knows their doings
9 it’s Allah who sends forth winds to raise up the Clouds; We lead it to a Dead Land to revive the Dead Earth. such is the Resurrection!
10 whoever  seeks  glory and power, should know it belongs to Allah alone. only good works with good deed rises to Him. those who plan and do evil will have a terrible doom, and failed plan
11 Allah created you from dust, then from a Sperm drop, and then made you in Pairs. no Female gives birth or conceives except, with His knowledge. nor is any person’s life extended or lessened, but is encoded in a Book and that’s easy for Allah
12 neither are the Two (2) Seas same, ones sweet to drink, other salty. yet from each you can eat tender meat and extract ornaments to wear. you see Ships plow the waves, it’s for you to seek His bounties and give thanks
13 He merges Night into Day and vice versa. He subjected the Sun and Moon to Orbit for a fixed Term. such is Allah your Lord! His is the Kingdom and those you call besides Him don’t own the skin of a date stone
  Section 3
14 if you call them they don’t  hear and if they do  they cannot answer, on Judgment Day they will reject your associations. none can tell you this except Him who knows!
15 O Mankind! it is you who needs Allah. Allah! He is self-sufficient all-    Praiseworthy
16 if He wills He could destroy you and bring about a new Creation
17 and that’s not hard for Him.
18 and no burdened Soul can bear another’s burden even if asked, by a close relative. you can warn those who secretly fear the Lord, to establish regular Prayers. purifying their Soul on path to Allah
19 the blind and the seeing are not alike
20 nor is darkness to light
21 nor is  shade to the Sun’s heat
22 nor are living same as Dead. Allah can make any to hear but you cannot make those in the graves to hear
23 you are but a Warner
24 We sent you with Truth and glad tidings. there’s never a Nation to whom We didn’t send a Warner among them
25 and if they reject you. like their ancestors did when their Messengers came to them with clear Signs, Psalms and the enlightening Book
26 then I caught those Disbelievers, and how (terrible) was My rejection !
  Section 4
27 don’t you see Allah sends down Water from the Sky.  We produce with it fruits of various Colours. and in the Mountain are streaks (paths) of White and Red and diverse shades of Colours and intense Black
28 so are Mankind, and Beasts different in Colour. the learned Devotees fear   Allah the all-Mighty and oft-Forgiving
29 those who read the Book of Allah and Pray regularly, spending secretly or openly from what We give them, look forward to lasting  gain
30 He will reward them, more from His bounty. for He’s oft-Forgiving most Approving
31 that which We’ve Revealed to you of the Book is the Truth, confirming the previous Revelations! and to His Devotees Allah is all-Aware, All-Seer
32 than We gave the Book of Inheritance to Our chosen Devotee. but some wrong their own Souls and some follow middle course. and some by Allah’s leave are ahead in good deeds, that is the highest Honor
33 Garden of Eden they’ll enter! adorned with bracelets of Gold, Pearls and wearing Silk
34 they will say “praise Allah for removing our sorrow, for our Lord is Oft-Forgiving, most Appreciative”
35 “He with His grace settled us infinitely in Mansions where no work or   tiredness shall touch us”
36 as for the Rejecters-they’ll burn in Fire of Hell to the point of Death endlessly without easing the punishment. thus We punish  every ingrate!
  Section 5
37 their cries for help “our Lord! free us, for now we’ll do right not like before” “but didn’t We give you ample Life so that whoever wants can receive warning? and warner did come to you. now taste, for wrongdoers there is no help”
38 Allah knows the secrets of Heavens and Earth and what’s in the Hearts
39 He has made you inheritors of Earth and if any disbelieve, they are working against own selves. and are hated in the Lord’s sight. their rejection is their own loss
40 say “have you seen the ‘Partners’ whom you call besides Allah? show Me what they’ve created on Earth or do they share the Heavens? or have We given  them any Book as clear evidence?” nay! the evildoers promise nothing to each other except fantasy
41 its Allah who grasps the Heavens and Earth that it doesn’t deviate and if it did, none can grasp it after Him. for He is ever-Lenient, oft-Forgiving
42 they swore seriously by Allah that if a Warner came they’ll be more obedient than any Nation ever. But when Warner did come, their   hatred only intensified
43 arrogantly plotting evil, but evil plots only covers the person who makes it! should they expect different treatment than meted to previous folks? no change will you find in Allah’s way and no turning off
44 haven’t they traveled the Earth and seen the outcome of people  mightier than them? Allah is not such that anything in the Heavens and Earth can escape Him. for He’s all-Knowing, all Powerful
45 if Allah were to punish Mankind according to what they deserve than    He wouldn’t leave a single living Creature on Earth; but He has given them reprieve for a fixed Term and when the Term ends they will know. for Allah sees to all His Devotee

Sura 28 The Story (Al-Qasas)

THE STORY (AL-QASAS)

  • Revealed at :  Makka
  • Sura:  28
  • Part:  (19) / 20
  • Total Verses: 88

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Lenient

Section   1

Ta Sin Mim

2

these are Verses of a Book that explains clearly

3

We recite to you some stories of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for the Believers

4

Pharaoh made himself powerful in the land and broke up his people into groups. a group he oppressed by killing men and keeping their Woman for he committed great sin

5

We favored the weak group to make them rulers and inheritors

6

to establish them in the land We let Pharaoh, Haman and their people to get from them what they feared

7

and so We inspired Moses mother “feed him but when you are afraid for his safety than without fear cast him away into the River for We will restore him to you, and make him a Messenger”

8

so the people of Pharaoh picked up their own enemy who was to be their cause of much grief, for Pharaoh and his people were sinners

9

Pharaoh’s wife said “he is our joy, do not kill him. we may even adopt him as a Son. without realising”

10

although Moses mother nearly gave it away, had We not made her Heart strong with faith

11

she told his sister “follow him” and she followed from afar, them being unaware

12

as We ordained, he refused suck from others “shall i tell you of a good family who can sincerely take care?”

13

so We restored him back to his mother, soothing her eyes and without grief she realised that Allah’s promise is true. but most do not understand

Section   2

14

when he became mature and well-known, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, Our reward for the good

15

undetected he entered the city and found two men fighting one from his party another from his enemies. his Man called out for help and Moses struck and killed the enemy. saying “this is Satan’s doing, who is a misleading enemy”

16

he said “my Lord i have wronged my Soul forgive me! and Allah the lenient and forgiving, forgave him”

17

he said “my Lord all that you have given me never will i help any sinners”

18

but the next morning he saw the same Man fighting and asking for his help Moses said “you are a troublemaker”

19

when he caught the Man who was enemy to both, the Man said “Moses will you kill me like you killed the Man yesterday you prefer tyranny in the land not reform”

20.

than there came a Man running from the remote parts of the city saying “the Chiefs are planning to kill you, my best advice is to getaway”

Section   3

21

fearful Moses left saying “Allah help me from wrongdoers”

22.

facing Madyan Moses said “hope my Lord puts me on the right path”

23

when he reached the water area he saw shepherds watering and Two (2) woman’s waiting, he asked them “what’s the matter?” they replied “we cannot water until the men finish theirs. our father is old”

24

so he watered for them and resting in the shade he said “Lord i need all the goodness you send down to me”

25

later one of them said shyly “my father invites you and wants to reward you for watering” so he went and told the whole story. he replied “don’t worry you escaped from wrongdoers”

26

one said “father employ him we need someone strong and trusting”

27

he said “i want you to Marry one of my daughters provided you stay with me for Eight (8) Years and if you stay for Ten (10) it is your goodness. i do not want to be hard, but you will find me upright

28

so it is settled whichever terms i fulfill let there be no ill will between us. Allah is our witness

Section 4

29

after completing the term Moses was traveling with his family when he saw a Fire from direction of Mount Tur. he said “wait here while i go to check the Fire, i may bring some news or a brand of Fire to warm yourself”

30

upon reaching, he heard a voice from the right side of the valley from a blessed Tree saying “O Moses I am Allah the Lord of the Worlds”

31

“throw your stick!” it started to move like a snake and Moses tried to run “do not be afraid come close you are safe”

32

“now put your hand on your chest without fear, it will come out White. take these Two (2) proofs to the evil Pharaoh and his people

33

he said “ my Lord i have killed their Man they might kill me”

34

“my brother Aaron is powerful in speech allow him to help me for they might refuse me”

35

Allah said “certainly We will strengthen your arm with your brother and give you both power so that they cannot touch you and with Our Sign you and your followers will succeed”

36

when Moses came to them with Our Sign’s they said “this is invented Magic we’ve never heard this from our forefathers”

37

Sura 28 – The Story – (Al-Qasas)

THE STORY (AL-QASAS)

  • Revealed at :  Makka
  • Sura:  28
  • Part:  19 / 20
  • Total Verses: 88
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Lenient
1 Ta Sin Mim
2 These are Verses of a Book that explains clearly
3 We recite to you some stories of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for the Believers
4 Pharaoh made himself powerful in the land and broke up his people into groups. a group he oppressed by killing men and keeping their Woman for he committed great sin
5 We favored the weak group to make them rulers and inheritors
6 to establish them in the land We let Pharaoh, Haman and their people to get from them what they feared
7 and so We inspired Moses mother “feed him but when you are afraid for his safety than without fear cast him away into the River for We will restore him to you, and make him a Messenger”
8 so the people of Pharaoh picked up their own enemy who was to be their cause of much grief, for Pharaoh and his people were sinners
9 Pharaoh’s wife said “he is our joy, do not kill him. we may even adopt him as a Son. without realising”
10 although Moses mother nearly gave it away, had We not made her Heart strong with faith
11 she told his sister “follow him” and she followed from afar, them being unaware
12 as We ordained, he refused suck from others “shall I tell you of a good family who can sincerely take care?”
13 so We restored him back to his mother, soothing her eyes and without grief she realised that Allah’s promise is true. but most do not understand
  Section   2
14 when he became mature and well-known, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, Our reward for the good
15 undetected he entered the city and found two men fighting one from his party another from his enemies. his Man called out for help and Moses struck and killed the enemy. saying “this is Satan’s doing, who is a misleading enemy”
16 he said “my Lord I have wronged my Soul forgive me! and Allah the lenient and forgiving, forgave him”
17 he said “my Lord all that you have given me never will I help any sinners”
18 but the next morning he saw the same Man fighting and asking for his help Moses said “you are a troublemaker”
19 when he caught the Man who was enemy to both, the Man said “Moses will you kill me like you killed the Man yesterday you prefer tyranny in the land not reform”
20. than there came a Man running from the remote parts of the city saying “the Chiefs are planning to kill you, my best advice is to getaway”
  Section   3
21 fearful Moses left saying “Allah help me from wrongdoers”
22. facing Madyan Moses said “hope my Lord puts me on the right path”
23 when he reached the water area he saw shepherds watering and Two (2) woman’s waiting, he asked them “what’s the matter?” they replied “we cannot water until the men finish theirs. our father is old”
24 so he watered for them and resting in the shade he said “Lord I need all the goodness you send down to me”
25 later one of them said shyly “my father invites you and wants to reward you for watering” so he went and told the whole story. he replied “don’t worry you escaped from wrongdoers”
26 one said “father employ him we need someone strong and trusting”
27 he said “I want you to marry one of my daughters provided you stay with me for eight (8) years and if you stay for ten (10) it is your goodness. I do not want to be hard, but you will find me upright
28 so it is settled whichever terms I fulfill let there be no ill will between us. Allah is our witness
  Section 4
29 after completing the term Moses was traveling with his family when he saw a Fire from direction of Mount Tur. he said “wait here while I go to check the Fire, I may bring some news or a brand of Fire to warm yourself”
30 upon reaching, he heard a voice from the right side of the valley from a blessed Tree saying “O Moses I am Allah the Lord of the Worlds”
31 “throw your stick!” it started to move like a snake and Moses tried to run “do not be afraid come close you are safe”
32 “now put your hand on your chest without fear, it will come out White. take these Two (2) proofs to the evil Pharaoh and his people
33 he said “ my Lord I have killed their Man they might kill me”
34 “my brother Aaron is powerful in speech allow him to help me for they might refuse me”
35 Allah said “certainly We will strengthen your arm with your brother and give you both power so that they cannot touch you and with Our Sign you and your followers will succeed”
36 when Moses came to them with Our Sign’s they said “this is invented Magic we’ve never heard this from our forefathers”
37  Moses said “my Lord knows who came with guidance from Him and joyful Hereafter, but wrongdoers will not prosper”
38 Pharaoh said “chiefs I don’t know of any God beside myself. Haman! bake some clay bricks and build palace high enough to reach Moses Lord, for I think he is a liar”
39 he was arrogant and wicked in the land; they never thought they’ll return to us!
40. so We seized and flung them into the sea. observe the end of the sinners

25 “he is a madman: bear with him awhile”
26 he said “my Lord help me for they reject me”
27 so We inspired him “build an Ark under Our watch and Guidance and when Our Command comes and the oven gushes Water than take pairs of every species Male and Female, along with your people except ones on whom  ruling has been given. and don’t plead for Sinners for they will all be drowned”
28 after embarking on the Ark you and others say “praise be to Allah for saving us from wrongdoing folks”

71 if the Truth was what they desired than the Heavens and Earth and all in it would’ve been corrupted! nay We’ve brought them the Reminder but they turn away from it
72 or did you ask them for some reward? but your Lord’s bounty are better for He provides the best
73 Lo! you invite them to a straight path
74 and those who disbelieve in the Hereafter are deviating from that path
75 even if We had Mercy on them and removed their problems they would still be wandering in their distraction blindly
76 We’ve punished them but still they are not humble nor pray to the Lord
77 until We open the Gates of brutal punishment, then they’ll be plunged
  Section   5

82 they say “really! after we die and are dust and bones shall we be raised again?”
83 “this was promised to us and our fathers before, they are just ancient stories”

85 they will reply “to Allah” say “than won’t you take advice”
86 say “who is the Lord of the Seven (7) Heaven and the Supreme Throne?”
87 they will say “Allah” say “than won’t you beware?”
88 say “in who’s hands is the Sovereignty but who needs no protection himself if you know?”
89 they will reply “Allah’s” say “than how are you misled?”

90 We gave them the Truth: but they are liars
91 Allah has no Son’s or partners. if He did than each god would’ve taken away things they created, some would’ve overpowered others. glory to Allah and things they join Him with
92 knower of the Seen and Unseen. high above what they ascribe as partners to Him

Sura 18 – The Cave (Al-Kahf)

THE CAVE (AL-KAHF)

  • Revealed At Makka
  • Sura :18
  • Part :(15) /  16
  • Total Verses : 110
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Merciful
Section   1
1 praise be to Allah who Revealed to His Devotee a Book with no crookedness
2 but straight, to warn of severe punishment and good news from Him. and reward for the Righteous Believers
3 to live forever
4 furthermore to warn those who say “Allah has got a Son”
5 neither they nor their fathers had any such knowledge; dreadful lie’s what their mouths say!
6 you will kill yourself grieving over their footsteps for not believing this statement
7 whatever We’ve made on Earth is a glittering show to test who’s best in conduct
8 and lo! We shall make its soil dry and barren
9 or do you think the Companions of the Cave and the engraving were wonders of Our Sign’s?
10 when the youths fled to the cave and said “O’ Lord give mercy on us and You provide for us a right way”
11 so We sealed their hearing in the Cave for a number of Years
12 then We roused them in order to test which of the  Two  groups was best at calculating the Year’s they’d spent
Section  2
13 We relate to you a true story! these youths believed in their Lord and We increased them in Guidance
14 We strengthen their Hearts, they stood up and said “our Lord is Lord of Heavens and Earth we shall not call any God besides Him for that will amount to excesses”
15 “our people chose to worship God’s other than Him, with no proof isn’t those who lie against Allah grossly mistaken?”
16 when you reject the worshippers of other things besides Allah and return to the cave your Lord will shower His Mercy on you with comfort and ease
17 they would’ve seen the Sun rising moving away to the right from their cave and upon setting turning away from them to the left while they lay in the  midst.  it’s a Sign of Allah. the rightly guided are guided by Him.  and those whom He forgets, you won’t find a guiding friend for them
  Section 3
18 you would’ve thought they were awake while they slept. We turned them to their right and left. their dog stretched his Two  fore legs at the entrance. if you had seen them you would’ve fled shocked in fright
19 than We woke them so that they can question each other. one said “how long have you been” they said “a Day or so” another said “Lord knows best…. now send one of you with this silver coin to the City: see what food he can get. be careful and polite, don’t let anyone know about you
20 “if they find out they will stone you or force you back to their religion and you won’t prosper”
21 this is how We make them known to people, so that they realise Allah’s promise regarding the Hour is true. the people disputed about their case among themselves. some said “build a building  over them their Lord knows them best” those who oversaw their affairs said “we’ll construct a worship place over them”
22 some say they were Three the Fourth was a dog. others say Five and Sixth was the dog, only guessing. or Seven and the Eight was the dog. you say “only Lord knows how many and non knew except a few therefore don’t discuss  without proof nor consult them regarding these people
  Section   4
23 don’t say things like “i will do this tomorrow”
24 without adding “if Allah wills” and if you forget than say “hope my Lord will guide me closer to the right path”
25 and they stayed in the cave for Three hundred and  Nine Years
26 say “only Allah knows how long” believe in Him who knows the secrets of Heavens and Earth. how clearly He sees and hears! they haven’t any protector like Him nor does He shares His Command with anyone
27 recite His Book revealed to you, none can change His words. nor will you find refuge besides Him
28 include yourself with persons who remember the Lord Morning and Evening, seeking His face and don’t let your eyes overlook them desiring Life of this World nor follow those whose Hearts We’ve permitted to neglect Our remembrance and follow their own lust and whose case are lost
29 say “Truth is from your Lord” whether you believe it or not. and for wrongdoers We’ve prepared high flames surrounding like walls and if they ask for help they will be given Water like boiling oil scalding their Faces a dreadful drink. and an ill resting place
30 as for the Believers their reward for doing good will never be lost
31 for them is Garden of Eternity with rivers flowing beneath. wearing bracelets of Gold and green garments of fine Silk and Gold brocade. reclining on raised Throne, a blessed reward and beautiful resting place!
Section  5
32 tell them story of the Two Men. to one We had given  Two Garden of grapes surrounded by Date Palm with cultivated fields in their midst
33 each garden’s full of Fruits unfailing. and in its midst We caused a gushing river
34 he boasted to friends “i am richer than you and a more Powerful  person”
35 and went to his Garden in unjust state saying “this will never perish”
36 “nor will the Hour ever come and if i am returned to my Lord i will surely find something better in exchange”
37 his friend said while arguing “you disbelieve in Allah who created you from dust and then a sperm drop and made you a Man?”
38 “as for me He is Allah my Lord, i don’t join partners to Him”
39 “why didn’t you say when you entered the Garden that ‘it’s Allah’s will the all Powerful, if you see me less than you in wealth and Children”
40 “maybe Allah may give me something better and might send thunderbolt making your Garden flat hillside”
41 or the Water in your Garden disappear underground and you cannot find it
42  so Allah did exactly this. the Man wrung his Hands counting his losses and saying “wish i hadn’t joined partners to my Lord”
43 he had no people who could help or save him from Allah
44 your protection comes from Allah the true God giving best reward and success
Section 6
45 give them examples of Life of this World.  when We send Rain from the Sky the vegetation absorbs it but soon becomes dry and scattered by the Wind. it’s Allah who prevails over all
46 wealth and Children are ornaments of this World’s Life but good deeds are better in Allah’s sight for reward and hope
47 one Day We shall remove the Mountains and you’ll see a leveled Earth and We’ll gather them together, leaving non out
48 assemble before Allah in ranks – now you have come to Us the way We created you first. and you thought We will not keep Our commitment to meet you
49 when the Book is placed in front of you, the Sinners will cry out in terror “what kind of Book this is which does not leave out anything small or big” to none will your Lord be unjust
  Section 7
50 We said to the Angels “bow down to Adam” all did except Iblis he was of the Jinn he refused the Lords command. will you then take him and his offspring as friends instead of Me? they are your enemies! what an exchange for Evildoers
51 I didn’t call them to see the Creation of Heaven and Earth nor their own Creations nor do I take misleaders as helpers
52 the Day when He’ll say “call the partners you ascribe to Me” but when they call and won’t get reply than We’ll create a barrier between them
  Section 8
53 the guilty will realise they are about to fall into the Fire with no escape
54 everything is explained in the Quran for people’s benefit but Mankind mostly argue
55 what is holding Mankind from believing after receiving Guidance or asking forgiveness from their Lord. do they want ancient treatment or come face to face with Doom
56 We only send Messengers to give good news and warnings but the Disbelievers argue and disprove the Truth taking My Sign and warning as a joke
57 who is more wrong than one who is reminded of their Lords Revelations but rejects forgetting what their Hands had sent? We’ve veiled  their Hearts so they won’t understand and made ears deaf, so even if you call they won’t accept Guidance
58 your Lord is most Forgiving, Merciful. if He took them to task He would’ve punished them.  but as their Term is fixed  they cannot escape
59 such Townships! We’ve destroyed for their wrongdoings. with fixed destruction time
Section 9
60 Moses told his servant “i will not give up until i reach the junction of two  seas or travel endlessly”
61 but when they reached the junction, they had forgotten the Fish that had swam away
62 at length Moses said to his servant “bring the meal early as we are tired from traveling”
63 he replied “remember when we were on the rocks, i forget to tell you, Satan made me forget the Fish and it swam away marvelously into the Sea!”
64 Moses said “this is what we were after” so they retraced their footsteps
65 there they found one of Our Devotees (Khidr), on whom We had bestowed Mercy and taught from Our Own presence
66  Moses asked (Khidr) “may i follow you so you can teach me about the Truth that you were taught”
67 he replied “it’s very difficult to follow me”
68 “how can you be patience of things you don’t understand”
69 Moses said “Allah willing you will find me patience and not disobeying”
70 he said “if you follow me than don’t ask questions until i speak regarding it”
Section   10
71 when they both boarded the boat he made a hole in it. Moses asked “you did this to drown the people in it? strange!”
72 he said “didn’t i tell you, you won’t have patience”
73 Moses said “don’t rebuke me for forgetting or be hard”
74 than they walked on until they came upon a youth and he (Khidr) killed him. Moses said “you killed an innocent Man who hadn’t killed anyone that’s Evil”
THE CAVE (AL-KAHF)

  • Revealed At Makka
  • Sura :18
  • Part :15/ (16)
  • Total Verses : 110
In The Name Of Allah, The Most Beneficent And Merciful
75 he answered “didn’t i tell you, you won’t have patent?”
76 (Moses) replied “if i question again than don’t keep me because than you’ll have an excuse”
77 so they traveled until they came to a Township where they asked for food but were refused. than they saw a broken wall which he fixed, Moses said “if you wanted to you could’ve earned for fixing it”
78 the Man said “this is the parting between me and you but i will tell you regarding which you couldn’t keep patience”
79 “concerning making the boat unserviceable, it belonged to the poor workers on the river they needed it but their King was taking all good boats forcibly”
80 as for the youth, he was Evil, his Parents were Believers and he would’ve disgraced them by rebelling and disbelieving
81 “so we intended that the Lord will give them another better than him in purity and affections”
82 “and the wall i rebuilt belonged to Two (2) Orphans. beneath it was treasure from their father who was a good Man. so your Lord desired that upon maturity they get it out. this is not my doings. such are the interpretation that you couldn’t bear”
  Section 11
83 they ask you about Zul-Qarnain say” i will tell you something regarding him”
84 “We established his power on Earth and granted him access to all things”
85 so he followed a way
86 till he reached the place of the setting Sun and found it setting in murky Waters near some folks. We said “Zul-Qarnain you can punish these people or show kindness”
87 he said “whoever is wrong will be punished and then sent back to the Lord who will punish severely”
88 but the good Believers will have easy task and a superb reward by Our command
89 than he followed a road
90 until he came to a place where the Sun was rising over people on whom We had not provided any shade
91 and he went on. We knew what lay ahead of him
92 still he carried on
93 until he reached people living between Two  Mountains they could hardly understand a word
94 and they said to Zul-qarnain “Gog and Magog are doing mischief in the Land we will honor you if you can set a barrier between us?”
95 he said “God’s honor is better! but help me with your strength and i will put a strong barrier between you
96 “bring me Iron blocks” with it he filled the gaps of the Mountain, then said “blow” until he made it hot as Fire, then said “bring me molten Lead to pour over it”
97 after this they were powerless and couldn’t climb or dig out
98 he said “this is my Lord’s mercy: but when the Lord’s promise comes, all will turn to dust “
99 the Day We shall let them surge like waves one on another: and when the  Trumpet is blown  We shall gather them together
100 that Day We’ll present Hell plainly visible to the Disbelievers
101 who’s eyes had been veiled from My remembrance, nor could they bear to hear
Section  12
102. do the Disbelievers think they can take my Devotees as protectors besides Me? We’ve made Hell for the Disbeliever’s entertainment
103 say “shall We tell you whose deeds will give them great loss?”
104 ones whose efforts are wasted in this World but still think they are doing good
105 they are the Disbelievers, who deny the Revelations and the meeting with their Lord. useless are their works and We’ll not give them any importance on Judgment Day
106 Hell is the Rejecters reward who joke about My Revelation and My Messengers
107 as for Righteous Believers they have Garden of Paradise for entertainment
108 there they’ll live with no desire to leave
109 say “if the Sea was ink still the words of my Lord will not be exhaust even if you add another’
110 say “i am a Man like you. the inspiration came to me that your Lord is one Allah and whoever wants to meet Him, let him do good and not join partners to Him”
